Remove any add-ons you did not ask for such as paint protection or loan insurance
Consider GAP insurance if your down payment is less than 20%
Get all promises and inclusions in writing before signing

Register the vehicle in your province right away
Set up automatic loan payments to protect your credit score
Schedule an oil change and inspection to establish a maintenance baseline
Check your loan balance against the vehicle value once a year
Run Your Numbers Before You Shop
Use the free calculator to find a payment that fits your budget, then compare lenders by province.
